Big day! Up at 4 am for a trip out to California. Made a pot of coffee and off to the airport. Was very lucky and was bumped to first class on the first leg of the trip to Chicago. It wasn’t that difficult to pass up the free meal. There was just too much carbage (carbohydrates/Garbage). The cinnamon rolls did smell really good! Three cups of airline coffee, which is OK.

Made it out to California and went to a grocery store to load up on some supplies to stock in my room. Found the old standard, Oscar Mayer Fully Cooked Bacon and this Butterball Fully Cooked Turkey Bacon.

First of all bacon in California is the most expensive bacon I have found. I think I paid anywhere between $3.99-$4.99 for the Oscar Mayer bacon in the northeast. It was $6.99 here! The Turkey Bacon was only $2.99. It was a little more in weight.

This is the turkey bacon. I heated it up in the hotel microwave. It didn’t smell like bacon. It didn’t taste like bacon. It didn’t taste like turkey. I am not sure what it tasted like. 20171110143627_IMG_0626

I will try cooking a raccoon again or try a opossum before buying this product.

Ok that is it! Except for the blood test and final thoughts. May add some more product reviews ioof someone has anything they would like to see.
